'Early Bird' Logo
Recent commission piece for a client in Finland, the brief was for a logo design heavily influenced by a Looney Tunes/Warner Bros. type of theme with the Slogan: "Early Bird Catches the Worm" The clients admitted that they were not really “Earlybird” people themselves so cheekily I incorporated this into the design with a sly look in the eye and a few discreetly placed wrinkles ... needless to say the clients loved the finished work.
The ink scanned sketch is my original concept for the “Earlybird” then the coloured version is my finished piece. The beak was rounded slightly from the earlier sketch, as the earlier sketch gave it a slightly harsh feel to the image.
