“DeadMan’s Cove”
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything onto the gallery, mainly because of a variety of project work that has took up a considerable amount of my free time. Apart from the various projects I’ve been busy testing some new software to work alongside Cinema 4D. The new program is an excellent little program called Vue6xStream; the first time I’ve ever used Vue in fact. I started out many years ago using Bryce, but I guess overall my years of using Bryce have helped me acquaint myself with the new software in a short space of time, still got plenty to learn, but I’m very pleased with the initial test results.
‘DeadMan’s Cove’ is my very first render with the new software, I wanted something with a pirate feel to it after modelling a Treasure Chest in Cinema 4D, the rest just came into the scene and ‘DeadMan’s Cove’ was the final result. I wanted an overall painted feel to the image and this was achieved by utilising a number of filters in Photoshop.
