Digital image which transpired from a brief to hand-paint the flying jackets of a crew of a WWII B-25 Bomber called ‘Russell’s Raiders’ based in Switzerland.
The Jane Russell image is based on the work of Alberto Vargas. The image was hand-painted, then scanned and manipulated in Photoshop, the bomb was modelled, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D and the text was created in Adobe Illustrator 10.
This artwork would then be hand-painted in Acrylics to the rear of the crews A2 flying jackets.
