Goblin (Red Cap)
The term goblin is a collective noun for evil spirits like redcaps. They are usually grotesque and misshapen but are of human form. They live in dark places and are of a very mischievous nature. It is said that their smile curdles the blood and that their laugh causes milk to sour and causes fruit to fall from trees. Red Cap is a thoroughly evil creature. He is a short, stocky humanoid entity who owes his name to the fact that he wears a red hat or helmet, which he regularly paints with the blood of his victims. Red Caps can move with remarkable speed and agility and can overcome the strongest of prey.
